The focus for my best bet for this event is the light heavyweight matchup between Glover Teixeira and Corey Anderson.

To me this is a fight between an underrated, very close to elite Glover and a guy who is mediocre at best in Anderson, and who is probably only in this position because of how weak the division is.

Glover has only fallen to the elite in this weight class. He is a danger everywhere, capable of KO’ing you, capable of submitting you, capable of using a wrestling game plan or a striking game plan and so on.

Corey is a grinder with power. His chances of winning this fight rely on him either catching a KO, which wouldn’t surprise me all that much, or grinding out a win mostly against the fence.

At this point in his career Glover needs to and should finish Corey within the distance. At plus odds, that is my bet here.
