UFC 237: Namajunas vs. Andrade takes place on May 11, 2019 at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Here are two of my selected picks:

Viviane Araujo (+270) x1
Talita Bernardo vs. Viviane Araujo – Early Preliminary card (UFC Fight Pass)

Bernardo has had a full training camp to prepare for this fight and she does have a slight grappling advantage over the newcomer Araujo, but I think it is going to be the ladder who gets the better of this match-up. Araujo is faster and has superior striking, and I think that is going to be the difference in this fight. I usually never bet on fighters taking short-notice bouts, but Bernardo has shown poor conditioning and below average activity on the mat. I could see Araujo knocking her out, but if that does not happen, I think she will take a close decision. This is a straight (money line) bet.

Raoni Barcelos wins via Submission (+193) x1 –
Raoni Barcelos vs. Carlos Huachin – Early Preliminary card (UFC Fight Pass)

Contrary to popular opinion, I think this is the most likely outcome to this 135-pound contest and see value in the +193 betting line, considering the moneyline on Barcelos is as high as -900. The newcomer Huachin is mostly a striker and Barcelos has an excellent Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu game, both offensively and defensively. I think he can capitalize on the mat and force a tap from the peruvian, and 15 minutes is plenty of time for him to find a finish.
