UFC 239: Jones vs. Santos will be held on July 6, 2019 at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

Here are my free picks:

Edmen Shahbazyan wins via T/KO (+145) x1
Edmen Shahbazyan vs. Jack Marshman – Early Preliminary card (ESPN+)

Marshman may have an edge in experience but I think Shahbazyan is just too fast for him. I think the American gets the job done on Saturday night and I think him defeating Marshman via T/KO is the most likely outcome to this welterweight affair. Considering the line for a T/KO finish is +145 and Shahbazyan straight up is -550, I certainly see some value in it.

Marlon Vera wins via Decision (+300) x1
Marlon Vera vs. Nohelin Hernandez – Preliminary card (ESPN)

Marlon Vera has a good chance to win this fight inside the distance, but I think the Decision prop at +300 is where the value is at. I would not be surprised to see this fight hit the judges’ scorecards for a decision, as Hernandez is a game opponent who will be tough to put away, despite coming in on short-notice. I think Vera’s superior experience at top level ultimately makes the difference as he takes home the decision victory.
