Zak Cummings vs. Michel Prazeres

After multiple botched weigh-in’s, Michel Prazeres is being forced to take a step up to Welterweight, and take on former Light Heavyweight Zak Cummings. Prazeres has a very impressive record, although void of major names, the performances speak for themselves as dominant controlling fights. Riding a 6 fight winning streak, Prazeres will, for the first time since Paulo Thiago, be fighting a much larger man and that is the crux of the situation. Michel Prazeres’ entire game is based on out-muscling his opponents for large portions of the fight, and he will be up for a rude awakening against Cummings.

Zak Cummings is a solid Welterweight who has a sneaky good submission game, and solid combination striking. Mr. Hold My Beer as I like to call him, also has a gas tank that makes Prazeres’s look like a can of Pepsi. Volume, control, and ultimately a submission, on an exhausted “Trator” is on deck tonight in Santiago, Chile.
