The focus of my best bet tonight is the light heavyweight fight between Patrick Cummins and Ed Herman.

This is a poor fight on paper not worth spending too much time on. The UFC always seems to enjoy matching together these middleweight and light heavyweights who have no upside instead of using them as a measure for younger fighters. Cummins has wrestling credentials and is a better athlete but is, in my opinion, favoured too heavily for those qualities, given his overall ability.

Anything can happen in this fight. Either guy can shit the bed and lose to basically anyone. If we’re gonna watch it we might as well look to profit. I have to bet the underdog in a fight like this but even 2/1 is not enough to get me to bet on Ed Herman. However, I see this fight being terrible and going to a nobody cares split decision enough times that the line on a Herman decision more than catches my eye. I think it’s a great value spot in a terrible fight.
