TNF: Cowboys vs Viking Betting Selection

WHOA! This is new. A football betting selection on our website?

Yeah, I thought I’d help bring a little change to the website and see if I can give away a winner starting tonight with the primetime game on Thursday Night Football.

A very important game here for both the Dallas Cowboys (10-1) and the Minnesota Vikings (6-5). The Vikings are hosting the #1 team in the NFL tonight at Minnesota. I think everything pretty much falls in favor to Dallas outside of them having home field advantage, although I do believe Dallas is one of those few teams who perform pretty well whether they are at home or on the road (I’ve been following the Cowboys and NFL altogether for a long time). Minnesota is also missing many, many starters both on defense and offense. Even their quarterback Sam Bradford who will play tonight is playing with an ankle injury labeled from the injury report. Not to mention Mike Zimmer, who is the VikingsĀ head coach will miss tonight’s game due to having emergency surgery for a detached retina. So in place for Zimmer will be the special teams coordinator Mike Priefer.

As for Dallas, they are missing only a few guys; Mo Claiborne (CB), Justin Durant (LB), Chaz Green (OT), and JJ Wilcox (SS). But returning SS Barry Church will take the place of JJ Wilcox on the defense, playing with a cast-like brace over his healing broken forearm he suffered many weeks ago.

All in all, if you’ve watched the 2016 season so far, you’d know that the Cowboys are riding the biggest wave of momentum and the Vikings are struggling to hold on, especially in the NFC North bracket.

I believe that Prescott and the offense will get off to a hot start and put up big points through the game, forcing the struggling and injured offense of the Vikings to try and rally a comeback to only ultimately fail and lose the game.

My bet for tonight is the Dallas Cowboys @ (-160). Risk 3.2 units to win 2 units.

Good luck everyone, thanks for reading.
